BLACK BELT CLASSES

Upon obtaining the level of Black Belt within our centre, be in junior or senior black belt, a special black belt sessions are available at no extra charge.

At the Illawarra Karate Dojo & Family Fitness Centre we recognise the dedication, effort and commitment it takes to achieve the high level of black belt. Unlike other styles, where children who finish the colour belt system must start again in the senior class, we have a junior black belt system especially created so our young students can still progress. 

Black Belt classes are always instructed by Sensei Hill who explains the small details of Kata and its effective self defence applications in realistic scenarios. This training is closed off from all other levels and is done to maintain the high standard within the club.
